I currently serve as a New Business Development Executive at Firespring Print and Marketing, where I'm responsible for the Omaha market. Outside of work, you'll usually find me working on projects around our home at Bluewater—because somehow, there's always something that needs to be done! This year, my wife Krista and I celebrated 31 years of marriage. We have two amazing adult children: Reagan, who lives with us while finishing her Master's Degree in Counseling at UNO, and Coleman, who lives in Dallas and works as a Financial Analyst. Yes, they both inherited their mom's IQ. I graduated in Finance from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and later earned my MBA from UNO. While at UNL, I was on the Yell Squad, cheering for the Huskers at home games, away games, and bowl games. It was during that time that I met Krista, and thankfully, I was able to convince her to go out on a date with me. As a lifelong Nebraska resident, I've always loved fishing, outdoor activities, and sports. My love of lake life started on week-long family trips to Minnesota and continues today at Bluewater, where I enjoy fishing, boating, and all the lake has to offer. I also spend time on DIY projects and focusing on healthy living, doing my best to keep my 56-year-old body from looking like it's 70.

I’ve been hooked on the water my whole life, from tearing around on a 1996 Sea-Doo XP at Lake McConaughy to island-hopping Florida’s Intracoastal. Now, my wife Ashley and our two girls, 9 and 13, dive into everything Bluewater offers—fishing for the big ones, surfing the lake behind a wave, zipping around on an e-foil (Thanks Kelly), or just kicking back for a sunset. We choose to raise our daughters on the water. This place is our family’s heart and soul, and I’m all in to keep it that way.
Work-wise, I dream big and make things happen. Back in 2018, I started a Registered Investment Advisor firm from scratch, turning it into a go-to financial planning shop for business owners across the country. I also co-founded a risk management SaaS platform, diving deep into tech to build a tool that’s now used by top insurance agencies nationwide, changing conversations with business owners about risk with cutting-edge software. Additionally, as the Chief Growth Officer of a Nebraska-based risk management shop, I am responsible for strategically executing our lofty vision.

I work for a global IT integrator, focusing on network technologies and engineering leadership. Outside of my corporate career, I'm also an entrepreneur, investor, and handyman. I've had the privilege of serving as a board member and president for the last two years. I've been happily married for 25 years and have three children, aged 9, 18, and 20. I grew up in Nebraska, spending much of my time on or around water in the Platte River valley, which remains a place I hold dear. When I'm not working or spending time with my family, I'm passionate about outdoor activities. I love wingfoiling, windsurfing, wakeboarding, wake-surfing, and slalom skiing. I also enjoy bowfishing, fishing, playing hockey, mountain biking, and snow skiing—activities I'm fortunate enough to share with my kids.

My husband, Matt, and I started our home here in 2019, and we've loved becoming part of this lake community. Our two boys, Charlie (4) and Henry (2), have really enjoyed getting to know the other kids around here, and we're excited about all the memories we'll continue to make. I spent 14 years working in the medical device industry and recently took some time off to focus on my family. Along with building connections within our community, I'm passionate about advocating for issues that impact our families and helping to foster a place we can all be proud of.

I'm a retired Geotechnical and Water Resources Engineer. I was honored to be appointed by the Governor to serve on the Nebraska Power Review Board for two terms, where I also acted as Nebraska's Regulator for the SouthWest Power Pool. I'm an Eagle Scout and hold private pilot licenses. In my free time, I'm an avid hunter, pursuing all kinds of wild game. I also served as an HOA board member and Treasurer for the past two years. My wife, Stephanie, and I have five children and nine grandkids, spread across the country from Hawaii to Maine. We're on a mission to visit all the national parks and have already explored 48 out of 63 on our bucket list!
